There are three different types of birth index lookups. With the information you send me, I can get back to you to let you know which type of lookup you will need. Then you can decide if you would like to go ahead. (Referrals upon request)
To give you an idea as to fee's, I have listed the type(s) of lookup(s) along with the fee associated with each one.
General Birth Index: $50.00
(The General Birth Index is for children that were adopted between 1957 and 1991. If the child was not adopted shortly after birth, their amended birth index may be in the next index, called the Delayed Index)
Delayed Birth Index: $75.00
(The Delayed Birth Index contains only amended names from 1956 thru 1992 and sometimes needs to be researched to find an adoptee that was not adopted shortly after birth)
Alpha Birth Index: 100:00
(The Alpha Birth Index is used for adoptee's that were born between 1949 and 1956. A really nice plus is that 1949 thru 1953 contain the mothers' First and Last names.)
